Angels on Earth
...He
said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them,
for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:14
She was a cherub angel,
loaned to us for just a short while.
Every ounce of love within her,
appeared in her every winsome smile.
She truly was Heavensent,
a gift from up above,
to demonstrate the wonder
of unconditional love.
We should have realized
we had an angel in our midst,
with every little note of gratitude,
with every precious hug and kiss.
She was more than an earthly vessel;
She was formed from God's own heart.
She captured the love of all those around her,
right from the very start.
Her mission was to bring unto us
laughter, delight, goodness, and cheer.
So joyously, she worked,
in the short time that she was here.
Her kindness was beyond measure;
not of the ordinary depth.
She shone on earth, with goodness,
with each tiny little step.
Her love touched our hearts,
and comforted our very souls;
In the gardens of our hearts,
she will remain the perfect rose.
She'll always linger upon our journeys,
In our hearts, she will stay.
Never will we forget her,
She'll be cherished, all of our days.
May she brush against wings of angels,
As she spreads her wings to fly;
May she soar upon the wings of the wind,
as she adorns the Heavenly skies.

In memory of all the Jon Benet Ramseys,
Samantha Runnions, Rachel Scotts,
who have left this earth too early.

"Ten Thousand Angels"
I know you're hurting,
I can see it in your eyes.
There's nothing I can say or do,
to ease your heart or mind,
But there's Someone you can talk to,
He'll come and ease your pain.
He knows your every thought and prayer,
Just call upon His name.
(Chorus)
May He send ten thousand angels strong
To comfort you and guide you through this storm.
May He send ten thousand angels strong,
To strengthen you, and guide you through this storm.
(Verse)
He understands the broken heart,
The suffering of the soul,
And in this crazy stormy night,
Yes, God is in control.
So, let Him take this cross for you.
Your burdens He'll make light.
And to the top of Calvary's hill,
Your fears be released tonight.
(Repeat Chorus)
(Guitar Solo)
(Modified Chorus)
May He send ten thousand angels strong,
To comfort you and guide you through this storm,
To strengthen you, and guide you through this storm.
(Ending)
Rock-a-bye, dear child of God,
With a blanket of stars above.
Sleep sound in Jesus,
in the arms of His love.
