For Friday, April 26, 2002

Good Morning, Folks !!!

Another angel, who had a golden censer, came
and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to
offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar
before the Throne.
Revelation 8:3

Each and every prayer we utter from our lips is
being saved in Heaven. They have all of our names
written on them.
The time that we spend in praying for one another is
recorded. I would like to think that they are being
written on our Life's scroll.
As we pray, the love of Father God speaks through
our hearts and stirs the spirit.
Prayers come from the spirit, are spoken through the
vessel, and are returned to the spirit, and caught up in
the arms of angels, Family, who deliver them, one by
one, to the Throne of God.
Now, we can fathom just a bit how very precious we are
to Him.
Have a blessed weekend, Family.

Extra Prayer

When the world falls down around you
And a prayer will see you through,
Say an extra prayer for someone
Who may need it more than you.

For who knows what hearts are breaking
In the silence of the night?
Just that extra prayer you whisper
May help someone see the light!

Every time you help a stranger,
With an extra prayer, or two,
You are building secret blessings,
That will all come back to you!
~~~Nick Kenny~~~
Please pray this weekend for:
Safety of all firefighters, homes, families, and little
animals which are being affected by wildfires in
Bailey, Colorado.
Pray for our military troops, in every location, in every
effort being made.
For Thursday, April 25, 2002
Good Morning, Folks !!!
For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing
does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.
Psalm 84:11
It is nice for us to know that, as we awaken to begin a
new day, that it is just that, a brand new day.
Hopefully, the troubles and disappointments of
yesterday do not repeat themselves, and we can focus
upon the new things which God has created for us
in the present.
He knows beforehand all the good things He
has stored up for us and He delights in our joy,
our sheer pleasure, our wonder at His mighty
awesome power, and how He moves in our lives.
I hope that you will have a good day today, and
that He will bring you peace, joy, and comfort all
day long, that your pathway will be filled with
sunshine, and blessings abound.
He truly blesses His children.
A New Day
The morning's here, another day,
The sun is shining through,
I left my worries all behind;
Today, I start anew.
An orchestra of tuneful birds
Gives messages of cheer,
The dark of night has vanished
And the morning sun is here.
The dew is wet with diamonds
And the world has come alive,
The little stems I planted,
All limp; will now survive.
The morning's come, the air is sweet,
The sun is shining through,
Yesterday has ceased to be,
Today, I start anew.
For Wednesday, April 24, 2002
Good Morning, Folks!!!
Stand firm then with the belt of truth buckled around
your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from
the Gospel of peace.
Ephesians 6:14-15
Ok. You've been up for hours and you're ready to begin
your day-coffee is ready, notes all together, "to do" list all
made out, keys in hand.
Turn around. Take one last glance at yourself in the
mirror. You're all set to go.
But, are you dressed?
We may know that we have victory in our walks with
Our Lord Jesus, but we need to equip ourselves, prepare
ourselves, before we can claim the victory. Don't dare
leave home without your armor today.
Have a blessed day, Family. :-)
What I Need
I need a strength to keep me true
And straight in everything I do;
I need power to keep me strong
When I am tempted to do wrong.
I need a grace to keep me pure
When passion tries its deadly lure;
I need a love to keep me sweet
When hardness and mistrust I meet.
I need an arm to be my stay
When dark with trouble grows my day;
And naught on earth can these afford,
But all is found in Christ, My Lord.
For Tuesday, April 23, 2002
Good Morning, Folks !!!
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful
God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those
who love Him and keep His commands.
Deuteronomy 7:9
Placing our lives, our families, our concerns into His hands each
day brings us strength and confidence to greet every opportunity with
hope.
Inviting our Lord Jesus to join us along our way, is the extra
assurance needed, but whenever all else fails, we soon come to
understand fully that He is really all that we need; nothing else, no one
else is necessary.
In the quiet of the morning, Father, take us by the hand and lead us
each day along the right way, the way which You have chosen for
us and may we be strengthened and encouraged at every turn, in
Your faithful, abiding, and covenant care.
In Jesus' name, I pray, trust, and believe, and thank You, Father.
Amen.
In the Quiet of the Morning
In the quiet of the morning,
Oh, how sweet it is to come
Just to talk a bit with Jesus
Before the crowding duties come.
Just to kneel there for a moment
With your head upon His breast,
All your problems laid before Him,
Every human need confessed.
Oh, the loving strength that surges
From His heart to yours all day;
Like a bright and shining armour,
Just because you knelt to pray!
Good Morning, Folks !!!
Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then
because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and
in everything you put your hand to.
Deuteronomy 15:10
The living of our lives is most often measured in the giving.
As we give, we experience the laws of sowing and reaping.
Never do we give, that we do not receive.
A gesture of giving, no matter how large, how small, is still a gift
from the heart and a blessing always appears.
Whenever the blessing comes, we always recognize it and recall
the gift we gave.
Our Lord never forgets.
Living and Giving
The days of my life
are spent living for Jesus,
And loving each day that I live,
The best of my life is in giving for Jesus,
And giving the most I can give.
In observing the words
that are taught in the Scriptures
Each day, that on earth I may live,
I find that my cup runneth over with blessings
And I get back far more than I give!
