For Friday, May 3, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!!

Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to
invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed.
They would say, "In the name of Jesus, Whom Paul
preaches, I command you to come out."
Acts 19:13

Paul was a very effective apostle for Christ, and I am sure that
many tried to imitate him in those early days.
The power and effectiveness of our prayers, however, depends
upon that particular anointing which has been placed upon us as
individuals.
If we do not seek Our Lord and are not baptized in the Holy
Spirit, we would speak just at the Jews did, claiming the name of
someone else's Lord, not our own.
This, of course, is not the way that we approach problems or pray
for those who are in need.
We must know Our Lord, we must be confident in our faith, and
we must expect results, as we pray, from Our Father.
To know Him, to really know Him, is to love Him, and to know the
love which He has bestowed upon us, as well. There is none any
greater. We are blessed children of the mightiest Kingdom.

Dear Father God:
I lift up those reading today, who may not know You, know of Your
unconditional love for them.
I pray, in the name of Jesus Christ, My Lord, that You will increase
their longing, their desire to know You, to trust You with all their pain,
and that You will lead them from wherever they may be to the healing pool,
and will touch them with Your anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Father, open up their hearts to You, so that they can come to know
You as a loving and faithful Father, Who keeps His promises, Who
loves them, cares for them, and Who is willing to accept them, now,
just as they are, regardless of their past, regardless of their circumstances.
Father, set another seat at the Banquet table and have it ready for this one, for these,
as they accept You as their Savior, their Redeemer, and
their Glorious Lord, Master of all.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, I trust, and I believe as I pray,
that You will touch these, and I give You thanks, Father. Amen

Have a safe and blessed weekend, Folks.

Please pray for all those areas where wildfires are rampant, and
lift up the fire crews, the residences, families, and animals for safety and
strength and for angels to encamp around them, while guarding
and protecting.

Good Morning, Folks !!!

"For I will pour water on the thirsty land,
and streams on the dry ground; . . . "
Isaiah 44:3

If we carry a song in our hearts, it is difficult
for the enemy to inflict his sorrow.
If we carry joy in our souls, it is impossible for him to
steal away our gladness.
If we carry love in our spirits, the love of Jesus Christ,
pools of living water shall flow continually into our lives,
upon the parchness of our dry lands, so that the enemy
cannot leave his ugly old footprints.

God is Love
God is love; His mercy brightens
All the path in which we rove;
Bliss He wakes and woe He lightens;
God is wisdom, God is love.

Chance and change are busy ever;
Man decays, and ages move;
But His mercy waneth never;
God is wisdom, God is love.

Even the hour that darkest seemeth,
Will His changeless goodness prove;
From the gloom His brightness streameth,
God is wisdom, God is love.

He with earthly cares entwineth,
Hope and comfort from above;
Everywhere His glory shineth;
God is wisdom, God is love.

For Wednesday, May 1, 2002

Good Morning, Folks, and Welcome to May!!!

I say to myself, "The Lord is my Portion; therefore I
will wait for Him."
Lamentations 3:24

As children of God, we must become comfortable and confident,
that each day belongs to Him, that we must wait for His command,
to serve, to obey, to resume.
Walking a successful journey requires our dependence upon His
wisdom, and trusting always in His timeframe, even though that may
seem difficult in the beginning.
The longer we walk our pathway, the more we are able to climb
those hills optimistically, and often are able to turn around, take a
glimpse at all those we have crossed, and thank Him that we, indeed,
did wait as we review the results which may have been, without Him.
As we acknowledge God each day, we become more confident and
trusting that He knows the best way, and that He is Our Portion for all things.

One Day at a Time

One day at a time,
I seek His will,
Relinquish my needs,
in hopes, that He'll fill.

One day at a time,
I trust in His Word.
I pray to Him faithfully,
believing I'm heard.

One day at a time,
I open up my heart,
Inviting Him in,
at the very start.

One day at a time,
Today is in His hands.
I trust in His ability;
I wait for His plans.

By clicking onto that bar, you will be able to enter the
Prayer Request pages, and post your requests or

Please help us to pray. Thanks.

For Tuesday, April 30, 2002

Good Morning, Folks !!!

. . . having a form of godliness but denying its power.
Have nothing to do with them.
2 Timothy 3:5

If we seek the peace of the Holy Spirit, the comfort,
and yet we do not seek the power, we are denying
ourselves the full measure of Christ.
This is not the legacy which Our Lord Jesus left us, but
is the complacent, comfortable position that we have
reached, and chosen for ourselves.
Seeking Him should entail seeking Him fully, in all
aspects, so that our faith can be strengthened to the
maximum, experienced to overflowing.

Beyond All Measure
Dear Lord, I know You love me,
I feel it everywhere,
At work, at play, all by myself,
And when I kneel in prayer.

Your Name's the first upon my lips,
When something turns out wrong,
And I keep running back to You,
To help me get along.

It's gotten so I blindly trust
Whatever You decide
Is best for me, I have no time
To waste on foolish pride.

Having once discovered
The joy Your Presence brings,
I have no wish to squander
My life on lesser things.

Dear Lord, I know You love me,
And there isn't any harm
Can come to me as long as I
Keep clinging to Your arm.

You're well aware of all the things
I need from day to day,
You give me those I ought to have,
And take the rest away.

So many years I wasted,
"Til I stopped keeping track.
Dear Lord, how long You loved me,
Before I loved You back.

But for Your gentle patience,
Within itself a treasure,
I might have lived and never known,
A love beyond all measure.

For Monday, April 29, 2002

Good Morning, Folks !!!

In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord
determines his steps.
Proverbs 16:9

As we all strive to accomplish our Higher Purpose, that which
God has called us to do, the journey may be long, may be weary, may be exhausting.
Many fear that they do not measure up to the standards.
He will mold us and make us just the right vessel, if we give our lives over to Him,
and invite Him to do so. We are all one and the same, but the only difference
is a yielded heart, one who can become submissive to His plans and
seek after Him.
Yielding to Him, and turning our focus to His vision often
involves turning our backs to plans of others. We have to make that
decision ourselves, if we have committed ourselves to become His vessel.
He is the One Who can make all things possible, if only we trust in Him.
He makes all the paths straight.
He doesn't expect us to measure up in any way. He
wants to fashion us with His two hands, and accepts us
gladly, just as we are.
The most difficult task is making the decision that we are His,
that we belong to Him. After that, we have no choice.
Amen?

No Higher Goal

O, let Your Presence flow through me
To touch the ones You choose;
Make me a yielded vessel, Lord,
A tool for You to use.

Mold me until You're pleased with me,
Polish me till I glow;
Lord, pour Your Spirit right through me,
To bless hearts as I go.

Give me the gift of listening, Lord,
Tune my ears in to You;
That high above this earthly roar
Your Voice will lead me through.

O, plant Your very breath in me,
Lord, be my heart and soul;
Please make my life Your mirror, Lord,
There is no higher goal!
~~~ Connie Hinnen ~~~
Dear Father:
For those who may be struggling today, with the
decision to seek Your higher purpose in their life, may their strife
become a healthy pathway, lined with wisdom,
knowledge, and angels to guide them along, as You
determine their footsteps, each one.
In Jesus' name, I pray, and believe, Amen
Note: There is a good movie named "Joshua" playing at theaters.
I recommend each Christian to see it.
Have a blessed week, Family.
