For Friday, June 14, 2002

Good Morning, Folks !!!

You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all
of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
Galatians 3:26-27

The refining process is a slow and painstaking process. It usually
begins with something roughly hewn and processed until shiny,
pure, and filtered through and through.
We are being refined daily into the image of Christ; each trial
and experience touching our hearts in such a way, as to mold, shape,
and renew, bringing out the polish, which has always remained
hidden underneath the surface.
On the outside it may be difficult to recognize Christ in us, but
for those who seek Him diligently, we catch many glimpses of Him,
through them.
He is there, within the heart, walking in the garden paths,
inspecting every promising hope of future blossoms.

Deeper
Let me try a little harder
Let me pray a little more
Let me go a little farther
Than I've ever gone before.

Let me sing instead of sighing,
As I pass beneath the rod
Let my life burn out for others,
Less of self and more of God.

Let me see the ones about me,
Hungry for the peace I know,
And the spirit of my Savior,
Father, let me ever show.

Let me lift the one who's fallen,
Help the lame upon the way
Soothe the weary, calm the suffering
Knowing Thou wilt come someday.

Others, Lord, yes, others
Let this my motto be,
Help me to live for others,
That I may be like Thee.

Have a safe and blessed weekend, Family.

Good Morning, Folks !!!

The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who
are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.
Psalm 146:8

As we walk with God, we learn daily, all the ways in which He loves
us.
The favor which He shows us, even in the tiniest and unimportant
things, speaks volumes of how very much He cares for His family.
We are loved, and we are blessed.
Know that in the quiet times, the times where it looks as if He
is not there, that He is busy in the background, making things happen,
which will bless you, in the end, in the most beneficial way.
Our trust, our continued faith, even in the dark, delights Him, and
we shall receive blessings, if we grow not faint.
He does love us, He does care for us, and in due time, we shall
see a manifestation of that. Praise God.

Of all the days I've ever known,
God, in His faithfulness, has ever shown
that He cares for me.

From the time that I arise,
and wipe the sleep from my eyes,
He cares for me.

Upon every pathway that I walk,
with every sweet person that I talk,
He cares for me.

As I lay down my sleepy head,
upon a soft and comfortable bed,
I know that He cares for me.

For Wednesday, June 12, 2002

Good Morning, Folks !!!

He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may
live together with Him.
I Thessalonians 5:10

The hall of alienation is an uncomfortable place to be, an empty
place. Even though, most often, only a temporary condition, it can also
be prolonged, depending upon circumstances.
Living in the condition of sin, alienates us from Christ. Though
outward appearances may not suggest that we are feeling isolated,
alone, and apart, the heaviness in the spirit will eventually be revealed,
and will have to be dealt with.
The alienation brings much dissatisfaction, hopelessness, and
despair. Misery loves company. There is a void which only God can
fill, and a love that only He is able to impart.
Each and every sin needs to be addressed, confessed, and
dispossessed. New habits will become necessary, in some instances,
and perhaps even new surroundings, new friends.
Our Father God cannot come through the wall of sin to comfort us,
but He can wash sin away with the blood of Jesus Christ, so that they
can be covered by His love, thereby bringing wholeness to a life.
Once the process of forgiveness has taken place, you will never feel
alone or isolated again.
Invite the Savior into your life, if you have not already done so, into your heart,
and experience the joy and peace which has been promised
in His Word.
Our Lord is always waiting, and you will be adopted into a big family, as well.
We need more servants in His Kingdom, and we need
more brothers and sisters.
I do not know who I am talking to today, but if that is you, please
take the step to accept Christ as Savior, and send me an email.
May God bless all, and be all.

Since I Found You

I never knew such joy and peace,
Dear God, till I found You.
And now, I have enough of both
to last my whole life through.

As long as I'm in touch with You,
throughout each passing day,
if I become confused or lost,
You help me find my way.

And when sadness fills my heart,
as happens now and then,
You're always there to lean on,
and renew my faith again.

I wish everyone cold have the peace of mind
I do,
and the joy and love, Dear God,
I've had since I found You!

For Tuesday, June 11, 2002

Good Morning, Folks !!!

. . . . so it towered higher than all the trees of the field;
its boughs increased and its branches grew long, spreading because
of abundant waters.
Ezekiel 31:5

Our seeking of Father God has to be from a pure, humbled, and
sincere heart.
We cannot enter into a relationship with God, or anyone else,
believing that by our doing so, we shall receive all of our selfish wants
and desires.
Whenever we meet God, and commit ourselves to Him, it cannot
be based upon what we want from Him, but rather, from the standpoint of
what He wants and needs from us.
The unconditional love that He extends to us, must be reciprocated,
in order for it to be a full and thriving relationship.
Only He knows the plans, all the plans, He has created us for, and
only He can place the desire in our hearts to want the same.
Listen to your heart, listen to Him, and see what He has to say.

Dear Father,
May I, by Your great power,
be able, as a cedar of Lebanon, to stand.
May I tower above the heads of others,
as according to Your plans.

May I drink and become refreshed,
from the abundant waters which flow.
May I become increased,
in every direction of which I grow.

May all those around me,
come and nestle in my shade.
May I be ever thankful and humble myself
before You,
as I revere all the majesty You have made.

May I peer yonder to the thickened forest,
my eyes cast upon all the trees,
And may I rejoice, as I view the cedars;
There, truly, are none so blessed as these.
Amen.

May each of you have a blessed week this week, and begin to
see dreams, hopes, manifest and may you be led by the Holy Spirit
into the plans which He has created just for you.

Note: For some reason, the devotionals have not posted properly during
the last couple of days. Am trying to get this resolved.
