For Thursday, June 27, 2002

Good Morning, Folks !!

I will be out of touch for the next few days, will miss you.
If any need prayers, please leave requests in the Prayer Requests,
so that the Prayer Warriors may pray for you. Keep the families and homes
affected by the wildfires in constant prayers, all the firefighters, all the animals.

For You will have a covenant with the stones of the field,
and the wild animals will be at peace with you.
Job 5:23

A heart that remains close to Jesus shall always beat with
drums of love.
The heartsong shall resound so powerfully, that even the
creatures of the forest will hasten to your presence, so that
they may listen to the melody that extols inside the spirit.

Keep Me Near Thee

Keep me near Thee, dearest Jesus,
Always in Thy Holy sight,
Draw me ever closer to Thee,
'Till the coming of the night.

Hold my hand and lead me onward,
Through the trials and stress of day;
Let me see Thee, hear Thee, feel Thee,
In my daily toil and play.

Hand in Thine, I can not falter,
Thou art ever at my side;
And my heavy heart seems lighter,
When it in Thy heart confides.

Have a safe and blessed weekend, Family.

Good Morning, Folks !!!

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard
your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7

The whisper of God's voice can settle on us, as the brush of angels' wings, as
His peace, His perfect peace, enters the sanctuaries of our hearts, our minds, and
our very souls, flowing gently upon each troubled
ripple of disturbance.
We have only to ask, and it will be granted. Such a sweet, loving,
and comforting gift we have in His perfect peace, and such a display of not only
His mighty power, but His deep love for us, as well.
We are truly blessed.

Dear Father,
As my family reads today, please speak "peace" upon their spirits,
and have them abide in Your love all this day. Father, whatever their
minds may be engrossed with, may peace surround them, and fill them, as
they go about their daily routines.
Father, speak upon their hearts today, that You are in control, that You are all
they need, and that You are standing near, to send forth Your
perfect sense of tranquility in their lives, and in all that concerns them.
Thank You, Father, for Your perfect peace, for Your perfect love and
care. In Jesus' name, I pray, trust, and believe, and thank You and praise
You for Your peace and Your everlasting love. Amen.

Peace
Our cups runneth over,
as we sit and wait on Him.
We learn the very heart of God,
and His patience with the wills of men.

We sit and idly wait,
For His hand to make a move.
He is so willing, so eager,
to us, His love to prove.

He waits for a cry from upon our lips,
He listens as we sigh.
Such a wonderful Father He is,
to both you and I.

Nothing compares to His beauty,
Nothing compares to His grace;
His peace sweetly covers us in silence,
and keeps us from acting in haste.

A gift so rare and precious,
is often sent by His Word,
But the ears of angels listen,
and carry out the commands they have heard.

Peace, perfect peace, indwells
our hearts, our very souls;
May we feel the warmth of His glorious Presence,
as we are loved and He makes us whole.

For Tuesday, June 25, 2002

Good Morning, Folks !!!

So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will
happen just as He told me.
Acts 27:25

I often think that our faith is promoted by each rung of the faith ladder
which we climb.
As we are progressed from one stage of faith to the next, the higher
we rise.
God tests us gently and He knows just when we are ready, the perfect time,
for our next step up. We know for sure that whenever we are
being tested in such fashion, that we are no longer spiritual toddlers,
but well on our way to spiritual maturity; a time whenever though we
still believe, all outward appearances speak otherwise.
© Sandra Lewis Pringle

If you are climbing today, praise God for promotion, for His wisdom of knowing that
you are ready for this new stage, and that you are indeed, growing in Him, climbing upward
on your spiritual ladder.

Dear Father,
Help me through all my trials,
to keep my focus upon Thee.
Help me, Father, my eyes to cast,
upon Thy power, not on circumstances, not on me.

Let me only look upward
to the heavenly skies overhead,
And not down from whence I came,
but to the top of the ladder instead.

As I peer into the heavens,
May Your mighty angels surround me there,
And, Father, may I reach the Glory of Your majesty,
Which is the true purpose, and beyond compare.

For Monday, June 24, 2002

Good Morning, Folks !!!

Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to Our King,
sing praises.
Psalm 47:6

My mother had always loved flowers, had worked with them year
after year, and knew them all by heart.
During the last year of her life, I would take her by the arm into the
dining hall of the nursing home facility, and we would walk by the
flowers, and photos of flowers hanging on the walls.
Even though my efforts were in vain, she could no longer remember
the names of the flowers, which she had loved so well.
She did, however, recall her favorite hymns, and often as we
sat and sang quietly together, others would come in and chime in with us.
She remembered the words very well.
One day, as several of us were gathered singing, a little black lady
got up from her seat, walked slowly over to the other side of the room,
sat down at the piano which was situated there, and began playing the
hymns which we were singing, not missing a single note.
She did not remember her own name, but remembered those
beloved songs of praise, and Her Savior.
© Sandra Lewis Pringle

Oh, let me sing the old songs,
the beloved hymns of yesteryear.
They bring back so many memories,
of which I hold so dear.

They speak of love and salvation,
of Our Precious tender Lord.
They ring out from angelic elderly voices,
who somehow never lose the words.

Let us praise the Master,
the Music Director from on High,
and may we hear the angels singing,
as we close our eyes to die.

May they sing "Precious Memories",
"Softly and Tenderly", too,
May they walk us through the garden,
Where we alone, Father, meet with You.

Sing out saints of chorus,
Let the praises echo and resound;
These words shall remain in our hearts forever,
and shall be carried with us, as we are Heaven bound.
© Sandra Lewis Pringle

Have a blessed Monday, and may you have a
song in your heart today.
