For Friday, July 5, 2002

Good Morning, Folks !!!

But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with
one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.
I John 1:7

Many may live alone, feel alone, but whenever a Christian, we know that we
can reach out to others, who are able to comfort us, strengthen us,
and lift us up, at those times when we may need their encouragement.
We are to fellowship with Christ, as well as with others, and there should be no time, really,
that we feel completely alone.
Praise the Lord.

I live alone, Dear Lord,
Stay by my side,
In all my daily needs,
Be my gentle Guide.

Grant that I'll be healthy,
This is what I pray,
To carry on my life from
Dawn to dark, each day.

Make me ever faithful,
And care for every need,
Teach me to be thoughtful,
And kind in word and deed.

I live alone, Dear Lord,
And yet, I have no fear,
For I feel Your Presence
Ever loving, ever near.

For Thursday, July 4, 2002

Good Morning, Folks !!!

May we all today, pray for our nation, thank God for our being citizens
of America, and ask Him to help us in any way we can, to show others
the true spirit, kindness, and generosity of the pioneers before us.
May God heal our nation, our government, our land, and may He
move upon us in such a way with the Holy Spirit, that the love He pours
forth into our hearts, will reach the hearts of those all around the world.
I pray each and every day, that He places a blanket of protection over America,
that He has angels posted at every corner, at every border, and that His power shall rule
forever over our nation.
May we follow in His footsteps to forgive those who act against Him,
who try to negate His Diety in our country, and may we show all people, in all lands,
that He is Lord of our hearts, our spirits, and all that concerns us, and that we trust in
Him today, just as we did yesterday,
and as we shall always do in all of our tomorrows, as long as we all shall stand.
God bless you and yours on July 4th, the birthday of our country,
and may America stand tall and proud, because she is surely a nation
to be proud of.
Sandra

The bravest battle
we shall ever fight,
is not to save another land;
but, rather, the fight that torments all,
the choices of good and bad, among men.

Our spirits rise at the call of Our Father,
to forever believe and stand;
We shall not disappoint Our Lord, Our Master,
Who has saved us by nail-scarred hands.

Whenever the battle rages,
and we feel we just can't go on,
We join forces with our brothers and sisters
of Faith,
grow bold, and sing with our heart's song.

No weapon formed against us shall prosper,
even though there may be some wrongs,
His justice, His power, still rules
and shall overcome,
And Our America, God bless her,
will always through Him,
forever remain Godly strong.

For Wednesday, July 3, 2002

Good Morning, Folks !!

I pray that all of you who are leaving today, for vacations, will be
safe and arrive safely to your destinations.

Come to Me all of you who are burdened and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28

As many of you are now thinking of leaving jobs behind, to take a few days
of rest, know in your heart, that God is with you, is there to sustain you, and is there
to refresh, revive, and renew our strength, each and every day.
May your days be filled with His strength, His refreshing, and His
renewal of blessings upon you, wherever you are, wherever you go, and it is
comforting to know, that He is with us always.

Rest

Rest for bodies that are weary,
Rest for souls in deep despair,
Sweet assurance of His Presence,
even in a world of care.

Blessed rest in times of trouble,
Peaceful harbor in the storm,
In the midst of dark depression,
Rest and safety in His arms.

When the heart is heavy laden,
Trust the One that loves you best.
For He knows about each heartache,
In His love, is blessed heart rest.

Toils of life may make you weary,
When you do your very best,

Place your head upon your pillow,
As He gives you sleep and rest,
When life's sun is quickly setting,
And you pass that final test,
His amazing grace will take you,
to that final place of rest.
