Good Morning, Folks:
Pay attention and listen to the sayings of the wise;
apply your heart to what I teach . . . .
Proverbs 22:17
It is important that we apply not only our minds, but our
hearts, as well, to the Word of God. We must be able to
feel the message, as we read, and we must be able to convey the
message with our hearts, as well, as we live.
A heart that is dying is a sad thing. It isn't able to receive from
the Word, to receive the love that was intended for it, and neither is it able
to give the love, which was meant for it to share.
It is much like a garden, untended, withering, drying up
in the baking soil.

A garden that is tended,
grows rare and beautiful things;
rows of perfect intricate petals,
rows of healthy green.
A garden that is forsaken
knows neither bud nor flower.
It thrives not in the sunshine,
and only withers with each waking hour.
