Good Morning, Folks!!!

Every valley shall be raised up,
every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall
become level, the rugged places a plain.
Isaiah 40:4

Sometimes, as the soul is caught in the trap of uncertainty and pain,
we can lose sight, lose heart, and lose faith. Some valleys are much
deeper than others, and we all experience them.
We must, however, continue to walk, continue to move forward,
continue to make our way to the distant mountaintop.
Preparation comes from the valley; inspiration and revelation comes while
resting upon the mountaintop.
We need both in order to grow and mature. Each terrain is significant to our
journeys.

A Guide That Never Falters

There is a Guide that never falters,
Amidst the storms of doubt and fears;
For He has walked the way before thee,
And He knows the path you see.

His feet have trod the rugged hillsides,
And the valleys of despair,
His life has paved the way to Heaven,
Never fear, He'll guide you there.

His soul has tasted mortal anguish,
His eyes have felt the sting of tears,
He's a timely Guide, a sympathetic Savior,
So, trust to Him your future years.

Note: I will be taking a break for the next several days, and
Morning Glorythoughts will be interrupted. Pray for my safety,
as I will be traveling some. Thanks.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

. . . All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of
them came to be.
Psalm 139:16

For all those who keep daily journals, we know that it is customary to write down
personal thoughts, plans, and desires of dreams for the future.
It serves a daily memorandum of where we are in life, and where we wish to be.
As we read in this verse of Scripture,
we see that Father God has documented a life journal for us. In this journal,
He has planned each course of our journeys, which He wishes for us.
If we get off His divine course, He will lead us back onto the pathway which we can
continue to walk, and follow His plans.
Most likely, He has had to make amendments to many entries, as He
watches those who seem to lose their way.
I hope that as He opens the journals for each of us, we are in the correct pathway,
pursuing all the plans He has written for us.
I am sure that He often has to place a bookmark inside the pages whenever we
become disobedient or stumble.
May He remove the bookmarks today, as we lift our hearts to Him, and ask Him to
take us by the hand, the children that we are.
Praise the Lord.

Life's Pattern

Life's threads all form a pattern.
Some silver, some of gold.
And there are new and finer threads,
to mingle with the old.
Some tiny threads are broken,
a stitch or two is skipped,
But when the work is finished,
the pattern isn't ripped.
It forms a perfect blending
of all of life's great dreams.
With love, we frame the border,
with sorrow, sew the seams.
So, fold the pattern to your heart,
Sweet memories are the dearest part.

. . . taking the five loaves and the two
fish and looking up to Heaven, He gave thanks and broke the loaves.
Then He gave them to the disciples,
and the disciples gave them to the people.
They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
Matthew 14:18-20

Whenever we read this Scripture, we realize that we serve a supernatural God,
with supernatural power, to increase and
manifest.
His supernatural power still works in our lives today.
We may, if not careful, make a god from something, which can anger our Father God. Anything that keeps us from honoring Him, from serving Him, from esteeming His rightful power and authority in our lives,
is a god made and placed before Him.
Our God is not just an ordinary god;
He is the Supernatural God, the Greatest Power which ever was or ever will be.
Just that thought in itself should stir
some joy in our hearts today, and the thought that we can know Him, can be close to Him, can share with Him.
Praise The Lord.

Dear Lord,
May I take a seat beside You,
by the window of Your heart?
May I peer deep inside,
and fall under the grace, which You impart?

May I understand Your wisdom,
May I see the vastness of Thy glory above?
May I touch Your hand so tender,
and may I receive the knowledge of Thy undying love?

May I gaze into Your devoted eyes,
the windows of the soul,
and, as I sit and worship,
may I be made complete and whole?

Lord, May I see the pain of my transgressions,
As I trace the lines of Thy nail-scarred hands,
And may I fully grasp the sacrifice,
which You gave for every man?

May I wash Your feet with gladness,
and as I wipe away my tears,
Lord, I long to dwell along beside You,
and forever remain right here.
