For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world; this is the victory
that overcometh the world; even our faith.
I John 5:4

This message today is going to bring some controversy and hopefully, some
food for thought.

Faith or Fear?

In consideration of today's current events, we are witnessing on a daily basis,
seeds of fear being sown into every American home.
By our focus upon acts which can possibly be taken against us, rather
than on the command from Our Lord Jesus to "fear not", aren't we, in all truth,
giving more credibility to the enemy and his power, and denying ourselves as Christians,
in a Christian nation, the opportunity to stand up in faith, as we have been commanded
to do?
Our country was founded upon the premise that God Almighty was to be the ruling and
authoritative God of our land.
If that is the case, why are we submitting ourselves and succumbing to suggestions
that we must act out of fear of what may or may not happen, or fall victim to the lie that we
have no other defense, than to attack and kill those whom may be harmful to us. Was this
nation not born of Almighty God?
Whenever one person of evil is removed,
isn't it always the case that there's another,
ready and willing, to take his place?
God has His eyes upon America, upon
His people.
He is looking for those who will rise up in faith of Him, and in His power, and not
cower down underneath the fears which are being hailed at us, from every news broadcast,
every film footage depicting the possibility of impending doom.
Is our God not more powerful than any germ which may be produced by human hands?
If He isn't, why do we pray for His healing touch for cancers and all the other dreaded diseases,
some of which cannot even be detected?
Can God not soften hearts of the evil, and make stony hearts as flesh? Can we not pray
for our enemies?
Can we, as a Christian nation, not seek His power, His authority, over all the plans
of the wicked and believe in His power, in Him, by our combined faith, that He will guard
America by a host of warring angels, to dispel every weapon formed against her, against His people?
We are living in these times, Folks, for a purpose. I believe God is calling His people,
our nation, to be representative of Him,
to rise up in our faith of Him, and not place our faith in the destruction, which military weaponry
can do.
A nation, a kingdom, which operates from a spirit of fear, is a weakened nation,
and broadcasts to the world, that we have become so. A much stronger, more victorious
nation will abide in faith of the All Powerful God.
Have we become such that we turn our backs on our faith in God, and place our trust in fear?
Consider this and form your own conclusion, but do not be deceived. Many are operating from
a spirit of fear today.
Remember the commands of Our Father God, seek Him in all things, and we shall see
His salvation.
He will honor our faith, our demonstration of faith, but He will be and always has been,
disappointed in those who fear.
