For Friday, October 11, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!!

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them
from all their troubles.
Psalm 34:17

Walking with Christ, without fear, is living the abundant life.
We know that whatever our troubles, He is able, willing.
Whatever the occasion calls for, He already has the plan to deliver
in mind, to set free.
He is an awesome God.
© Sandra Lewis Pringle

A Plan for You
Who walks with Christ need never fear,
For His strong arm is ever near;
He's there to lift you when you fall,
And He listens for each loved one's call.

Who can doubt His tender care,
For can't you feel His Presence there?
The love that suffered on the Cross,
will minimize your every loss.

He placed you in this wondrous world,
Trees, and grass, and flowers dew-pearled,
And He Who heeds the sparrow's fall,
will not abandon you, at all.

His highest creation, you, a man,
are at the center of His plan;
He's watched mankind for a million years,
held his hand, and dried his tears.

He gives you joy for every pain,
And sends the sunshine after rain;
He died so you could conquer sin,
With a plan for Eternal Life to win.

If you sang His praise for a million years,
And shed a million grateful tears,
The debt you owe could not be paid,
He only asks you walk with Him, unafraid!
~~ W.R. Goodman ~~

Dear Father,
We come to Your throne of love today,
asking, in the name of Jesus, that for
all those who are seeking answers,
who have endured and suffered long,
that You will send forth Your compassion today, to bring
them through the trial, and to release the strongholds over them.
Father, bless those who have waited faithfully, trusting, and reward
their faith today, with Thy greatest ,blessings, with deliverance.
In the name of Jesus, we pray, trust, believe, and agree, and we thank
You now, for answering this prayer.
Amen

For Thursday, October 10, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!!

. . .For the Lord is your life, and He will give you many years in the land
He swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Deuteronomy 30:20

As we live each day, we should live our lives to the fullest without regrets, without
looking back, but looking beyond and ahead.
We may have made mistakes, and we
may have taken some wrong turns, but God is more than able to make
the crooked paths straight, and to produce blessings from our
human blunders. I believe that He wants us to live our best, to be blessed,
and to enjoy His Presence, always near.
Praise the Lord.

Live Life to the Fullest

One never knows what tomorrow will bring,
So live life to the fullest today.
Enjoy the treasures that God has given
And never give into dismay.

Don't let the dark clouds get you down,
Be happy and carefree in mind.
Each cloud has a silver lining,
that you must search for and find.

Always look for the good in others,
And life will be happier for you.
Goodness and love will always make
dark skies seem brighter and blue.

Love each other as God has loved you
and peace will be yours to share.
Know that whatever tomorrow brings,
will find you safe in God's care.

For Wednesday, October 9, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!!

But, they, our forefathers, became arrogant and stiff-necked,
and did not obey Your commands. They refused to listen and failed to
remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-
necked and in their rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to
their slavery.
But You are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and
abounding in love. Therefore You did not desert them, even when they cast for
themselves an image of a calf and said,
'This is your god, who brought you up out of Egypt', or when they committed
awful blasphemies.
Nehemiah 9:16-18

History has a way of repeating itself,
doesn't it?
So often, in our haste, in our fear, and in a state of panic, we overlook
and do not consider the power of Almighty God. We neglect Him and His Word.
We forget that it was His power that used a young boy to slay a giant with a
rock. Some seem to look upon this as somewhat of a folklorish tale, but we know better.
Some, also, have forgotten the numerous times God has been more than able to save
His people from destruction, from attacks, from evil.
Those who truly depend and rely upon Him every day, know that He is trustworthy,
and are able to experience, trust without fear, His mighty power and promises. He brings
us through.
We are a nation that proudly claims our allegiance as being one nation, under God.
Our monetary system uses coins which are imprinted with words "In God We Trust".
Our enemies may seem threatening to us, this is true. Our enemies may seem
to have more powerful weaponry, but we must not forget that Our Father God doesn't
just seem; He IS. He is more powerful than any principality or power of darkness which
roams this earth today, and is certainly more powerful than man.
We have been instructed by Scripture not to fear any man, but to fear the Lord Almighty.
He has promised in His Word to us, that HE will subdue our enemies.
As a small child, I recall a song which was entitled "He's Got the Whole World in
His Hands". I believed that song then, and I believe it still today.
As a godly nation, we are to expect threats of every kind. As an ungodly nation,
we are to expect defeat in every area where we do not trust God.
A godly nation is concerned for its people, concerned for the welfare state of its
people, should be concerned for the economic state of its people, the elderly.
Plundering the Social Security benefits of the elderly, those who rely upon their fixed
incomes, in order to further war, should not be condoned. We hear of so much argument
as to war, but we hear very little details of what the repercussions of the war expense
will create for Americans.
God has His eyes upon America. God is still able to spread the security blanket
over America and favor her, favor any country who is willing to obey and trust.
Our faith is the key. If we step out in faith, trusting, we shall be blessed. I believe that
the blessing will match the step of faith.
Disregarding His Word, will bring a much higher price to pay.
God is as concerned over the soul of Saddam Hussein as He is, mine or yours.
He has a way of dealing with Saddam Hussein that no king or his army could ever
be able to.
He is able to remove the scepters from the hands of the worldly kings. We must trust
Him for that.
We must simply trust, exercise our faith, and believe. We must walk in faith.
Christians do not walk upon a fearful pathway.

Good Morning, Folks !!!

The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield
its harvest.
Psalm 85:12

As I traveled late in getting home last night, it occurred to me today, as I
coursed my way, that Fall had begun to open up its door. The sporadic bursts
of yellow are beginning to appear, and I know that within a week or so, our trees
will be dressed in Autumn splendor.
I wish to welcome Fall with fervor, as I love Fall, and may we all bask in the
beautiful display of God's hand, as He paints the trees, with His mighty fingertips
and gives the land, a touch of His majesty, His wonderful creativity, for us all to admire.
Fall is a time of reflection, of seasons past and seasons anew, closing one, yet
bringing changes which inspire, regenerate, and enliven, motivating us into anticipated
journeys ahead.
© Sandra Lewis Pringle

In the early days of Fall,
"See" fever begins to spread,
Folks from all around,
long to drive, and see all the yellows and reds.

The crispness of the Fall breeze,
is always a welcomed sight,
Donning a beautiful sweater,
to fight the chill of the early night.

Fall is such a special time;
a time of renewal and yet,
another end.
We can't wait to forge into the
future,
to see what lies around the bend.

As we walk in Fall's crisp crackles,
and feel the leaves crunch 'neath our feet below,
we truly are mindful of the power of Our Father,
of His creative and delightful show.

For Monday, October 7, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!

When I am afraid, I will trust in You.
Psalm 56:3

As trials and storms beset us, and as Christians, we know they will,
we must always remain faithful to trust in Our Father God, to trust in His
perfect will, His power.
He promises to be with us in troubles, and He is.
Our strength, our joy, and our hopes are based upon His Word, His promises,
and we are able to believe, regardless of how things seem.
This is the true victory of our faith, and
our triumph always. In all of our circumstances, all we need is a prayer and a promise.
He does the rest.
Praise the Lord.

Take Up Your Cross

Take up your cross and follow God,
And He will lead the way,
To bring you hope and inner strength,
to face each new born day.

Take up your cross and follow God,
And cast aside your fear,
For when you need a helping hand,
He always will be near.

Take up your cross and cast aside,
Your gloom and dark despair,
For He will help to ease the pain
that in your heart, you bear.

Take up your cross, be not afraid,
However dark your plight,
For God will see you through the storm,
and be Your guiding light.

For Thursday, October 3, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!!

Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies.
Psalm 36:5

Whenever God touches a heart, He turns it into love, spilling forth into the
lives and circumstances which we touch.
Showing love, is showing Our Father,
and places us at our finest; His purest and best.
Loving ways are not taught, they are
inherited from Our Father God, the true
Giver of all love.
© Sandra Lewis Pringle

Loving Ways

The loving ways are always giving,
whenever someone needs a hand.
The loving ways are kind and gentle,
towards a tired and broken man.

The loving ways are welcomed,
to a beggar upon the street.
The loving ways are Christian,
to the strangers that we meet.

We see God in our trials,
we feel His Presence in our storms.
But, as we fight the longest and toughest
battles,
He is there, to guard us, protect us, and
keep us safe in His loving arms.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

Surely God is my Salvation;
I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, The Lord, is my Strength and my Song; He has become my Salvation.
Isaiah 12:2

It has occurred to me today, that each and every day, we are in the process of healing.
The stages may vary, but as we continue to grow and trust in God, He is bringing us
into His wholeness, His completeness, and into His everlasting Sonshine, which transfroms us from the old creatures, into the new.
If we watch and listen close enough, we will see for ourselves the progress we have made each day, will witness His power in our lives.
Praise God for His love, for His unmatchable power and care for His flock, for His miracles, which we receive daily.
© Sandra Lewis Pringle

A Lifetime of Miracles

Each day brings forth new miracles,
of sun and sea and sky,
Another bird bursts from his shell,
and spreads his wings to fly.

New growth, new life is everywhere,
each bright day will unfold.
Fresh opportunities for all,
and worth their weight in gold.

The Master gazes down on us,
As He brings forth the dawn,
And blesses each and every one,
with courage to go on.
~~Marian Ford Park~~
