For Friday, November 8, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!!

He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way.
Psalm 25:9

Only God can teach us compassion, of His depth, and place it deep into our hearts.
Only God can teach us wisdom, His wisdom, which strengthens the inner man
and brings understanding in its fullest.
Only God can deposit the Holy Spirit into our spirits, and teach us His ways,
so that we may be led to do His perfect will.
Praise God.

Teach Me

Teach me, O Lord,
to be sweet and gentle
in all the events of life;
in disappointments, in the thoughtlessness
of others,
in the insincerity of those I trusted,
in the unfaithfulness of those
on whom I relied.
Teach me to profit by the suffering
that comes across my path.
May no one be less good for having come
within my influence;
no one less pure, less true, less kind,
less noble for having been a
fellow-traveler in our journey
toward Eternal life.

For Wednesday, November 6, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!

. . ."the Kingdom of God does not come with your
careful observation, nor will people say 'here it is'
or 'there it is', because the Kingdom of God is within you."
Luke 17-20-21

We cannot watch others live a life of holiness and
expect to claim it for ourselves.
If we abide in the Kingdom of God, we display and
demonstrate it daily. It is not a place we go to, but
rather, it is a place within us, in our hearts, our spirits.
It is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit within, and
His perfect will upon our lives, His purpose being
fulfilled through us.

Dear Father,
Lead us today into the pathway
which leads straight to Your heart.
As we seek You,
may we live in such a manner that we
demonstrate Your love, Your instruction,
to others.
Father, enable others to witness
the Kingdom of God within us,
so that they, too,
shall desire to dwell there.
In Jesus' name, we pray, trust, and believe,
and thank You, Father. Amen

For Tuesday, November 5, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!!

My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my
flesh cry out for the living God.
Psalm 84:2

As our minds and hearts begin to increase with
the desire to dwell in the heart of Jesus, in the courts of His praise, we shall
see His manifestation increase, in all areas of our lives.
Living as according to His Word, and giving as
according to His command, will bring increase and
prosperity into our lives, as well.
As we begin to increase, so shall He increase in a
visible and abundant way.
He keeps His promises and is faithful.
(c) Sandra Lewis Pringle

Dear Father,
The Giver of all good things,
May I walk today in Your abundance,
and bask in the joy which it brings.

May I sing with heartfelt adoration,
May my heart praise You ever more.
May I dwell in the shelter of Thy wings,
and may You open every door.

You lead us into ways everlasting,
You make our minds and our hearts secure.
You offer us garments of praise and thanksgiving,
so that we, in all suffering, may endure.

Truly, You are the Living Father,
The One Who blesses as we pray,
Truly, You are the faithful God,
Who keeps His promises every day.

For Monday, November 4, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!

But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to Life,
and only a few find it.
Matthew 7:14

The paths of least resistance which we often encounter, often appear to
look enticing, inviting, harmless, even.
But, in order to remain in our salvation, in God's plan, we must be ever
watchful of the pathways we take, our footsteps.
It is the pathways we take, which determine the
destination of our journeys.
(c) Sandra Lewis Pringle

Dear Father,
We look up to You today,
seeking Your wisdom, and Your perfect
will, as we take our different pathways.
Father, keep our feet on the narrow pathways,
and lead us by Your Spirit,
into the gates which You are opening for us.
Father, we submit our plans for Yours today,
and we exchange our wishes for Yours.
Show us the way, and bless us on our
journeys, as we trust in You.
In the name of Jesus, we pray, trust, believe, and
thank You, Father.
Amen
