For Monday, November 11, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!!

Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more;
The Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of
sorrow will end.
Isaiah 60:20

Whenever the hand of Time pulls down the
shade upon the late evening light, once again, the earth is
enveloped in darkness.
Whenever we, as Christians, however,
are in situations where the light has become faded and we
are surrounded by darkness, where truths have become gray, we
draw upon the strength, the promises, the Word of Almighty God,
so that His light will so shine upon us that we need no other light
to illumine our way.
His light is so powerful that it outshines the sun and the moon and
leads us safely and confidently, into pathways which we think our footsteps
would never be able to go.
As we lean upon His truths, His timing, His perfection, we come to know and
understand that darkness even, makes no difference, when we have Him.
Praise God.

Father,
Your light is just so precious,
as it illumines the paths I take;
I never have to grow fearful,
that maybe this is one I cannot make.

Your light shines deep within my soul,
and out of my heart, it beams,
touching upon all those around me,
embracing me with love,
giving me ever, a song of praise to sing.
