For Monday, December 2, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!

Welcome to December.

With me (wisdom) are riches and honor,
enduring wealth and prosperity.
Proverbs 8:18

Understanding, not only in the world,
but of the world, is pertinent and necessary
for our spiritual health, wealth, and power.
Without it, we cannot overcome any
evil spirit which casts itself upon us or against us.
We must be wise with spiritual wisdom,
in order to filter and refine the human,
worldly wisdom which surrounds us.
The higher ground, on which we tread,
is above the natural ground of the physical world, which our feet rest upon.
Our pathways are not upon the walkways of the world with its briars,
thorns, and serpents, but rather, are set upon and established by our ancient fathers,
by our Almighty God.
Success depends and absolutely requires
that we know the difference, so that we are prepared to retain it, enduring from
one success to another.
We should not have the mindset that we are to reach only one success in life.
God has intended us to live from success to success continually.
Praise God.

"He sat by a fire of seven-fold heat,
As He watched by the precious ore.
And closer He bent with a searching gaze,
As He heated it more and more.
He knew He had ore that could stand the test,
And He wanted the finest gold.
To mold as a crown for the King to wear,
Set with gems with a price untold.
So He laid our gold in the burning fire,
Though we fain would have said Him, "Nay."
And He watched the dross that we had not seen,
and it melted and passed away.
And the gold grew brighter and yet more bright,
but our eyes were so dim with tears,
We saw but the fire, not the Master's hand,
and questioned with anxious fears.
Yet, our gold shone out with a richer glow,
as it mirrored a Form above,
that bent over the fire, though unseen by us,
with a look of ineffable love.
Can we think that it pleases His loving heart,
to cause us a moment's pain?
Ah, No! but He saw through the present cross,
the bliss of eternal gain.
So He waited there with a watchful eye,
with a love that is strong and sure,
and His gold did not suffer a bit more heat,
than was needed to make it pure."
