Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man
who gains understanding, for she is more profitable
than silver, and yields better returns than gold.
Proverbs 3:13-14
Seeking God with a trusting heart, out of one's
desperation, is different than seeking Him simply
because we love Him, and long for His Presence.
He knows our needs, has promised to provide
and watches with interest, I am sure, as we strive to
meet our needs with efforts and plans which we have
devised.
This process is risking failure, risking missing the divine
opportunity which God has planned to deliver
us completely, so that we never face that trial again.
In the future, whenever we encounter the temptation to go our
own way, we will have the wisdom and the patience to seek Him,
His ways.
Wait and watch for the ways that God often provides. He always
provides in ways which we least expect.
Praise God.

Dear Father,
I pray for wisdom and patience, in those times that
needs are pressing, and circumstances seem
hopeless.
May I remember to wait upon You, to seek You,
and may You know by my heart, that I love You
enough to trust in You for all things,
and to wait upon Your mighty deliverance.
In the name of Jesus, I pray, trust, and believe,
and give You thanks, Amen.
