Good Morning, Folks!!!

Cast your cares on the Lord and He will
sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall.
Psalm 55:22

Today, as you begin a new week, there will be moments of
discouragement, and dismay which you will face, before it is over.
Something that we may hear on the news,
read in the headlines, or anything which may affect our relationships,
will certainly cross our pathways.
But, we have received the good news of
Christ, Who is willing to take our cares, willing to answer our prayers,
and willing to pick us up from feelings of defeat and
frustration.
We need not carry our heavy burdens upon our shoulders,
but give them over to God each day, and just remember that He
is in control, and is well able.
He will not let us fall, will not let us stumble so badly, that He cannot
put us back together again. He has the final say, the final authority over any
bad news which you may hear. We are His, and we have the victory with Him.
Cast your cares upon Him, and see His
glory, His power, His Presence with you this week.
Praise God.

Knowing

It's knowing You are always there
through each hurt and little care,
That keeps me on an even keel,
when daily woes my calm could steal.

It's knowing, whether night or day,
close to home or far away,
That You support my hopes and dreams,
or at least, that's how it seems.

It's knowing You're my dearest Friend,
in Your vigil without end,
Guiding me o'er troubled seas,
with a strong and steady breeze.

It's knowing that You'll always be,
in heart and soul, close to me,
until You guide me to that shore,
where pain and worries are no more.
