Good Morning, Folks!!

Welcome to the month of August!

So I prophesied as He commanded me,
and breath entered them; they came to life
and stood up on their feet, a vast army.
Ezekiel 37:10

Just as Ezekiel spoke to the heap of dry bones, and they arose, so the family of Christ should rise today, and let it be known that God's army is strong, is powerful, and is faithful.
We must begin to speak out against injustices, and let it be known that we will no longer tolerate anything which demeans
or diminishes the Name of Almighty God in this country.
He is Our Sovereign Lord, Our Redeemer, Our Mighty Sword.
May the family of God begin to unite, begin to shake off their deadness, and let it be known to all nations, that we are alive, that we are well, and that we are a mighty army.
© Sandra Lewis Pringle

Dear Father,
Today, I come in the name of Jesus,
and I pray for those dead soldiers,
the ones who have heard Your Word,
who have claimed Your righteousness,
but who have become complacent in
their faith.
Father, renew the spirits of Your people,
send a fresh anointing of the Holy
Spirit, and gird them up in power, in
strength, and in unity.
Father, bless them with confidence and
boldness, and may they long to serve You,
to acknowledge Your Name, as it is
being trod underfoot, and may You
instill within us, a deep yearning for
Your ways, in this land of ours.
Father, may we rise up, as the valley
of dry bones, and breathe new life,
new living waters, and may the springs
burst forth, as a flood, into our beings,
and may we be restored, by our faith,
and may You guide us daily, and
rekindle the fires in our spirits,
so that we may become the vast
army, of which You have longed for.
In the name of Jesus, we pray, trust,
and believe, and give You all praise,
honor, thanks, and glory,
Amen

Good Morning, Folks!!!

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar
and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. . .
Psalm 46:2-3

The seashore has long been a haven of peace; a sanctuary
for the searching soul.
Though its waves batter and pound the
shore, the steady, constant return of the tides
bring assurance.
As we are often battered and pounded
by the upheavals of our tides, we know that God is
always there and that as long as we
remain in Him, we shall not be shaken.
His mighty strength and power in us,
is a fortress for storms to blow against, but
they'll never tear it down.
Praise God.

Cathedral by the Sea

Lord, in the morning when I rise,
and throw the shutters wide,
Blithe sea gulls greet me at my door,
beside the ebbing tide.

I love to smell the salty breeze
as I rush toward the sea,
to stroll upon the soothing shore,
and start my day with Thee.

Could I but count each grain of sand,
the sum could not compare,
with all the times I've come to You,
for strength, in heartfelt prayer.

Each seashell is a token of
an answer from above,
that gave me strength to carry on,
enveloped in Your love.

Your care is constant as the waves;
I'll trust eternally,
And daily give Thee thanks in my
Cathedral by the sea.

Good Morning, Folks!!

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
Proverbs 16:3

Many times, inventors have failed before
their ideas became successful.
We may not be inventors, but we have all been given a dream to chase, and to successfully bring it to fruition.
Even though during the process, we may fail, doesn't mean that we are to give up. It is just God's way of telling us that there is another process He wishes us to pursue, in order for it to come out perfect.
His grace is powerful, and will abound to us, bringing us into the fullness, the completion of His purpose.

All Things Are Possible

I can move any mountain
with God at my side.
I can weather the storm
and drift with the tide.

I can hold out my hand
for His hand is in mine.
I am never alone,
He's there all the time.

Friend, you can move mountains
with God at your side.
You can weather the storm,
and drift with the tide.
You can hold out your hand,
for His hand is in yours.
You are never alone,
for He is your Source.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

I long for Your salvation, O Lord,
and Your law is my delight.
Psalm 119:174

This is the kind of heart which God seeks.
As we delight ourselves in His Word, in His
promises, in His faithfulness, He knows that we
truly know Him, trust Him, and rely upon Him,
as Our Father, Our Source.
Longing for Him in our hearts, keeps us
from stepping into temptations, from even
considering the ways of the world. The world
has nothing to offer, as Our Father does.
Nothing compares.
We know that His Way is the perfect Way, and
that we shall see our salvation, at every hand,
if we only place our trust, our hearts in Him.
Praise God.

The Light - The Way

I felt the world had turned me down
and life had left me low;
Though I looked on every side,
my eyes could find but woe.

My friends were gone, and all alone
I argued with despair;
Until I grew so weak and worn,
and life was filled with care.

All hope was gone, and as I walked
in darkness and defeat,
I cried, "I quit! There's no way out!"
And death I did intreat.

But, in the middle of my darkness,
a gentle voice did say:
"Come unto Me, no need to fear,
I am the Light, the Way."

"Though trouble walks on every side,
I shall dwell within,
to strengthen and protect you,
and keep your heart from sin."

The choice was mine, to live or die,
to lose, or ever win;
Without a word, I fell at His feet,
such peace, there came within.

Somehow, I knew that I could be,
whatever He should bid,
And on my feet, I stood and said,
"I shall not die, but live!"

Now, when I'm tested, tossed, and tried,
I still can hear Him say,
"Come unto Me, no need to fear,
I am the Light, the Way."

Good Morning, Folks!!!

"No one can come to Me unless the Father
Who sent Me draws him, and I will raise
him up at the last day."
John 6:44

As we pray fervently for the salvation
of our families, our loved ones, many are
content to let it stop there.
This is a selfish attitude, and also a
disobedient one.
We are to pray for others, be just as concerned for them,
as we are our very own.
Those whom God has placed upon our pathways , whom He has directed to our
paths, are sent there divinely.
We need to pray for those who are lost,
regardless of rank, position, or station in life. God has a
purpose for each one.
Is there someone in your life, who you have maybe
complained about, but never prayed for?
Begin praying for that person and see
what God will do. He may be waiting on you to do so.
© Sandra Lewis Pringle

Dear Father,
You have placed upon my path,
a little darkness, who has come
my way.
Father, let my light so shine,
that it's as bright as day.

May I be quick to perceive this calling;
may I not fail to understand,
that, as a Christian,
I'm responsible for the lost soul of man.

Father, help me not to be too busy,
help me not to ignore,
And help me to show them the way
to You,
the One Whom I adore.
