Good Morning, Folks!!!

Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits . . .
Psalm 103:2

I wanted to write something tonight, for tomorrow, that would encourage you in your walk of faith. I have a prayerful concern at the end of this message.

This morning, I asked God for divine blessings for myself today, as I read from Psalm 103. No more had I stepped out of the door, than my eyes captured the flight of a beautiful butterfly, the most beautiful I have ever seen. It had black wings, and the most beautiful teal green and blue markings.
It flew right in front of my eyes, and then dropped to the ground in front of me. It remained there. I bent over to speak to it,
and complimented it of its beauty, and how awesome God's creativity was.
That butterfly slowly came to my left shoe, climbed on top of my shoe, and then proceeded up my pants leg. I touched it
and spoke to it once more. That was my first divine blessing. No one else could have arranged that.
This evening, I went out to the mailbox at the end of the driveway. I saw nothing on the driveway walking to the mailbox.
I reached for the mail, turned around, and headed back toward the house.
Something on the ground happened to catch my eye.
Do you know what it was? It was a Fall maple leaf, in red and yellow and green. I looked at the trees all around my house; they are as green as a frog, no Fall colors here. I love Fall, always have, but we are weeks away from Fall yet.
I believe this was another divine blessing
sent to me today, and I praise God. He is just so awesome.
If we do not look for our blessings, we will not see them.

My special thanks to "Tess" for restoring my Guestbook on all of my pages.

Now, for my concern:

I am asking everyone who reads this to be in fervent prayer, about the Ten Commandments.
I feel that this recent uprising in Israel is not a happenstance, but is related very directly to our removal of the Ten Commandments. Things always occur in Israel first, Folks.
I am so concerned about every soldier we have in Iraq. Please ask God to send a miracle as our brothers and sisters in Christ, stand in Montgomery, Alabama, lifting their voices.
I believe that if we remove the Ten Commandments, the enemy will claim that as his victory, and our soldiers will suffer greatly, and we will see it on our television
screens. Please, please pray.

Prayer Request:

Roger and Joy - bronchial infections, coughing. Pray for them both to strengthen.

Have a prayerful weekend, Folks.

Good Morning, Folks!!

But Joseph said to them, "Don't be afraid.
Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good, to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."
Genesis 50:19-20

Poor Joseph. His brothers had been so
jealous and just literally pitched him out of
their lives, but God used it for the best,
and brought Joseph into a place of prominence, and honor.
So it is with us. Many can come against us, can treat us injustly, but God will take those circumstances, and turn them around for our good, for a great blessing, if we only believe.
He has the power and all wisdom to know where we should be; the direction He wishes to lead us. Trusting in Him, seeking Him is the only way to be certain, that we
are in the right place, the place of God, just like Joseph.

A Winner
Brilliant as sunshine,
the heart that has found
the glory of Heaven,
seeing God all around.

The darkness has vanished,
the light has come through.
For God in His goodness,
has rewarded you.

Your faith was the jewel
that let the light in,
So now you're a winner,
and God let you win.

Continue to practice,
There's much more in store.
Keep shining your faith,
for a new open door.

The sky is the limit,
so aim for the gold.
see in each golden moment,
a new story unfold.

In awe, you'll be speechless,
as the pathway you trod.
And as your faith keeps growing,
you will see more of God.

Good Morning, Folks!!

In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven.
Matthew 5:16

Sometimes, our hope, our faith is all we have. We look out at the horizon, and we see nothing that even looks as if it is going to manifest in the way which we need.
This is when the power of the Holy Spirit is most ready to help us, if we will just cling to our faith, and not give up.
I believe that every time, we give way for our faith, that our candles within glow just a little brighter. I believe that it is possible for one's candle to shine so bright, that it will blind the eyes of the enemy from you. I want faith like that.
Keep your faith; treasure it as you would your life, and hold on. God is near, and will never leave us.

"The fields were parched and brown,
the crops lay wilting from thirst.
Local ministers called for an Hour of Prayer,
on the town square,
asking everyone to bring an object,
of Faith for inspiration.
The townspeople filled the square with
anxious faces and hopeful hearts,
a variety of objects clutched in prayerful
hands, Holy books, crosses, rosaries.

When the hour ended, as if on magical
command,
a soft rain began to fall.
Cheers swept the crowd as they held
their treasured objects high,
in gratitude and praise.
One faith symbol seemed to overshadow
all the others;
a 9 year old child had brought an
umbrella."

Good Morning, Folks!!!

I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you what is best for you, Who directs you in the way you should go.
Isaiah 48:17

At times, the pathway may become confusing, the direction, which we are to take.
We have learned in God's Word, that we are to seek Him, His way, His direction, at all times.
In doing so, we can become pretty confident in what He is saying to us, how He is directing us.
The enemy may have a plan of his own; may try to lead you away from what is best, but rely upon God, upon His Word, and upon the wisdom you have obtained from His Word.
We may recognize the plans of the enemy, have been instructed to resist, and we are aware, and fully know the might, the power, and the authority of Almighty God, Who has overcome the world.
Praise the Lord.

A New Beginning

When you pray for a new beginning,
and rays of hope appear,
You have a blissful knowledge
that there's a saintly Presence near.

In answer to my plea for help,
He sent guidance from above;
And now, I can see clearly,
by His shining light of love.

If I should try again and falter,
I'll know exactly what to do.
Because I know He's always with me,
just waiting to see me through.

I know He walks beside me,
I can feel His hand in mine.
And I am forever thankful
to have His love divine.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. .. . . . .
Psalm 28:7

So comforting it is to God's people, as they know that He is truly their help, in times of trouble, when there is no one else to turn to.
He leads us beside the still waters, as the raging waters of the storms wreak havoc.
He is gentle, and will give us His strength to cling to. His strength becomes our fortress, and is the only shelter that we need.
Praise the Lord.

Walk With Hope

Eternal life, of this I dream.
Resounding melody, quiet stream.
The seeds of hope bring sunshine near,
Loud songs of joy, my God is here.

He joins the angels one by one,
Forever encased, eternal sun.
Heaven's delight, the joyous rope,
shines brightly on these seeds of hope.

When I was young, I knew no fear,
My God was one, my youthful year.
As I grew older, learned to love,
cast out the doubt, lived life above.

With angels dancing on my arm,
I knew near God there was no harm.
So I learned to walk and talk and cheer,
with Him, my Master, very near.

He guides my ever step in love,
Holy Spirit, like a dove,
Lifts up my heart like wings of fire,
I walk in love, God, my desire.
