Good Morning, Folks!!!

Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.
Psalm 126:5

There is a point during one's brokenness, that it seems as if your whole life, all your time is submerged in a flood of tears.
This is a degree of the heat in the refining process.
As one's spirit is cleansed with the washing, it begins to strengthen.
If a person chooses not to dry the eyes in the towel of bitterness, but begins to yield in surrender, God will lead them to a
place where they can sow those tears in praise and in joy.
It is actually possible to praise Him, to sow seeds through tears. That may not seem possible to you right now, but it is true.
I think that the seeds sown during this time are of particular importance.

He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.
Psalm 126:6

This is a point that I am trying to make in The Ya Ya Sisterhood in Christ efforts.
Giving is the key to overcoming heartache and heartbreak. God will turn those tears of sorrow, into the joys of tomorrow.
If you are mourning right now, standing at the wailing wall, begin to give and reach out to others.
It makes all the difference.

Dear Father God,
I seek You today, Father,
in thanks, in praise,
asking that You bring comfort to me,
through my giving, my reaching out
to others.

Father, this is the way that You teach us,
and this is the way that I want to become
stronger, healed, and whole.

Father, help me, in my times of heartache,
to remember Your Word,
that today, while I give in my sorrow,
You will bring joy, peace, and comfort,
blessings, in my tomorrow.

In the name of Jesus,
I pray, trust, and believe,
thanking You, giving You praise.
Amen.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

Through Him and for His name's sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith.
Romans 1:5

It is by the grace of Our Father, that we are able to believe, to act in faith, and to demonstrate His love for others, to share with others, His salvation plans.
We have all been called to belong to Christ Jesus, a witness to the grace of Almighty God.
If we stumble in our walks, His grace is sufficient, to lift us up, and begin us on our journeys once more.
It is by grace that we receive our healings, our instruction, and our forgiveness, that we are able to forgive.
Only the power of God's grace could do such a wondrous and mighty thing.

Sunshine

Come out into the sunlight,
Heart of mine;
Why linger in the shadows
and repine!

Winter's snows can't last forever,
neither pain;
Oh, come out into the sunlight
once again!

In the blue the birds are singing up
above;
Throw away thy gloom and sadness;
All is love!

Oh, come out into the sunshine,
Soul of mine;
Never were thou made for darkness,
Life is thine!

Good Morning, Folks!!!

Though grace is shown to the wicked; they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and regard not the majesty of the Lord.
Isaiah 26:10

As born again Christians, we have received the deposit of the Holy Spirit, in order that we might exercise the authority and dominion of that power, which comes from the Holy Spirit, to go forth and do the greater works.
We weren't meant to be content in just the knowledge that we have received the Holy Spirit. It was intended that we exercise it, demonstrate it, and use it, as Our Lord Jesus did, upon the earth.
We were meant to go out, in the likeness of Christ, in His power.
I don't see this happening in the church of Christ today. There seems to be a plateau which many Christians have reached, where they are comfortable, and do not feel the urgency, the need, to follow
the commission which Christ gave us.
If more were doing this in the world, there would be less evil, and more repentance. Truly, we would be glorifying the name and the very Presence, the majesty of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear Father,
Today, we come, with thanks and praise,
of Thy love, Thy mercy, grace,
and power.

Father, lead us by the Holy Spirit,
into the greater works,
into the areas around us, where we
can make a difference,
where we can demonstrate Your love,
and Your power, to those who are
lost, hurting, and confused.

Father, breathe a fresh release of Your
anointing into Your family,
and stir up the gifts which You have
given us, the care and the concern for our
fellowman,
so that we may fulfill Thy desire,
that we go forth and perform the
greater works, for the redemption of all mankind.

In the name of Jesus,
we pray, trust, and believe,
giving You all praise, honor, and glory,
Amen.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for My anger has turned away from them.
Hosea 14:4

If not walking in the ways of God, it is a comfort to know that He is forever willing to heal, mend, and restore.
It doesn't matter where one is at the time they reach out for Him. He is always there, to hear the cry of the lost.
His love is everlasting. He loves us whenever we don't even love ourselves. Many fall into sinful behaviors, because they have not yet learned how to love themselves, and remain there, because they do not believe they can.
Seeking God results in finding His love, His peace, and His joy. The three go hand in hand. If you receive one, the others are included. Such benefits these are.
The enemy may have you down and ready for the count, but God is right there, and He is ready to lift you up.
The choice is yours. Whether to stay down or whether to be lifted up and out of your circumstances, is up to you. Only you can make that decision.
Walking with Him, is a walk of victory. It is a sigh of relief, and a sense of peace, regardless of what is happening around you.
He is Sovereign, and He is always in control, battling for His own. Whenever we have Him, we don't have to fight our battles alone, and He always wins.
Praise our Father God.

"Be My Shepherd"

Be my Shepherd, Lord,
carry me through the mountians,
the valleys and the hills.
Be my Shepherd today, My Lord,
teach me to remain in Thy perfect will.

Be my Shepherd today, God,
hold my hand and see me through.
Help me to understand all the lessons,
which come to me, from You.

Be my Shepherd, my Redeemer,
my Deliverer, my Friend.
Walk with me, talk with me,
so that all of my time is well spent.

Be my Shepherd,
guiding me by Your loving hand;
Help me to grow and become that person,
which You have so perfectly planned.

Be my Shepherd;
carry me over the mountains,
through the valleys, and around every curve and hill.
Be my Shepherd today, Dear Lord,
teach me to remain in Thy
perfect will.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

He went there (Bethlehem) to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a Child. While they were there, the time came for the Baby to be born.
Luke 2:5-6

Upon hearing the news from the angel,
Gabriel, that she would carry the Son of the Living God, Mary immediately resigned herself to the wishes of the Lord.
Her pregnancy and the events surrounding it were not normal, at all.
She was faced with humiliation and scorn from others, and was rejected, in the beginning, by Joseph, her betrothed in marriage.
She was faced with the possibility of being stoned by the local townsfolk.
Her plight was serious, yet she trusted.
It was a long journey to Bethlehem, not an easy task for a woman who was about to give birth, but Bethlehem was the chosen birthing place by Almighty God.
As we are given visions to birth, many may never ponder if in the right place to do so.
I feel that the birthing place is of utmost importance, and just as critical as the birthing time.
If waiting for a birthing of some kind in your life, ask God to lead you to the place which He has chosen, and wait and trust.

Cardinals in the Snow

My birdfeeder is freshly filled with food;
I can see animal tracks in the crusted snow.
Icicles are hanging from the boughs of
the trees;
droplets of water trickle to the earth below.

Such a frosty fantasy is a delight to behold;
Feathers are flying outside my windowpane.
Like sentinels, birds line the tops of roofs.
Which one will be first to sample the grain?

There soon alights a royal-crested cardinal,
to delight in the new-found Winter treat.
He cocks his frosted head of scarlet red,
and flits furiously around on his tiny feet.

He eats his fill, then sails to the ground;
Red feathers flutter in the white luster below.
The north wind whispers in the distant pines,
I love Winter and cardinals in the snow!
