Good Morning, Folks!!

He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes.
Psalm 147:16

Outside, today, another fresh blanket of snow has fallen, lying silent, as the light of day passes into the darkness of the early evening shadows.
It is yet another reminder that Winter is not over, and a display of the evidence of Old Man Winter's colors.
The spruce trees are adorned in white, as with lace. Snow rests atop the roofs of birdhouses, which are awaiting the arrival of Springtime residents.
The stillness of the day seems to bring a silent peace, which thunders all around with beauty scattered on the ground.
Whenever we can learn to appreciate the qualities and the uniqueness of the seasons, we learn to appreciate even more, the depth of God's power and wisdom.

Snowflakes

Snowflakes are falling
from Heaven's bouquet,
Like petals from roses,
a lifetime away.

They curtsy and bow
and dance in midair,
then, form a white blanket,
that's wonderfully fair.

They cover the landscape
until everything's white,
like an acre of diamonds,
translucent and bright.

Like petals from roses,
a lifetime away,
Snowflakes are falling,
from Heaven's bouquet.
