Good Morning, Folks!!

He chose David his servant and took him from the sheep pens; from tending the sheep he brought him to be the shepherd of His people Jacob, of Israel His inheritance.
Psalm 78:70

God was not looking for a person of the "In" crowd, as He was searching for someone to shepherd His people.
He needed somebody simply who had a desire to obey Him, to follow His commands, and to love Him.
It is still the same today. He isn't impressed with the figures in a bank account, the make of vehicles we drive, or the names labeled inside our suits.
He is looking for simple people with simple faith, the kind that will look to Him, rather than on circumstances, who will be
careful to follow His instruction, and who will be diligent in reaching out to others.
It doesn't matter the station of life you may be in. If you have a willing and a trusting heart, God can use you.

Use Me, Lord

Use me, Lord, and let me serve
in every way I can.
Let me channel love and hope,
according to Your plan.

Show me the way, lead me to where
there is a plea for help and care.
Then, let me be the light and means
to be the answer to a prayer.

Use my talents and my strengths
that I might serve You best.
By sharing all You've given me,
for which I'm truly blessed.

Use me, Lord, give me the words
to comfort and console.
Then, guide me with each step I take,
to touch the heart of some dear soul.

For I have much that I can give,
and I offer willingly,
to be Your vessel while I serve,
Dear Precious Lord, use me.
