Seed Sowers Message
for
November 7, 2004

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other,
just as in Christ, God forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32

The way we relate to others will have a large influence on how others relate to us.

If we wish to have relationships improve in our lives, a change from within us must first take place, in order for that change to occur with our interchanges with others.

A person walking with a godly spirit is a joy to be around. They carry, in their hearts, the desire to love as Jesus loved.

Stubbornness, pent up resentments, and anger will block relational growth. That must be dealt with from within.

Only God in us, can remove the hurts, the resentments, and bitterness in a heart. A heart that hasn't been reconciled is a bleeding heart.

Continually reminding someone of something in the past is no way to heal. Living in the past keeps us there, keeps one bound, keeps one in subjection of the enemy.

Feelings must be dealt with and only God can heal the wounded heart and reduce the hurts and guide a person onto the course of restoration of the soul.

We have to determine within ourselves which is most important to us; the resentments that linger or the growth of our spirits, through the love of Christ Jesus.

Bitterness, hatred, and resentments act as a blockage to the flow of the Holy Spirit within.

Preconceived notions about someone, as well, can block and hinder relationships, and block the Holy Spirit from flowing within us.

Many today are carrying around with them hurts and pain from the past, which are actually delaying their progress and hindering their walks of faith.

We do not deal with these feelings on a human level. They have to be dealt with on a spiritual level. The Restorer of the soul is the only One Who can.

We need not approach others with accusations and blame. We ask God to heal us inwardly, so that we can be able to love others, as He loves.

Do not let an unrighteous relationship or encounter take root in your spirit. Ask God to cleanse your spirit of all unrighteousness.

The healing comes whenever we begin to realize that it isn't worth holding onto. In order to become removed, it has to be released. As it is released, it will no longer thrive and fester within, and control.

As we seek God to heal a wound, we must ask Him, as well, to heal the other person's heart, so that if we have to remain in contact with them on a daily basis, those feelings do not get in the way. Do not let another person keep you from advancement in your faith walks.

If you are dealing with someone who is being absolutely obstinate and stubborn, this could very well be your assignment.

The enemy will use them to keep you from walking in full godly potential, as an instrument of His peace. Pursue the healing of these emotions, so that God can pursue you.

Prayer for Emotional Healing

Dear Father,
My heart is hurting today, and I need You to heal and restore me,
so that I may be healed from within.

Father, it may look as if I have it all together on the outside,
but You know the true image of my heart on the inside.

May the root of old hurts, pains, disappointments, and resentments, within my heart,
be erased so that I may become all that You want me to be,
setting me free completely from emotional bondage and control.
Cleanse my heart from all unrighteousness, Father.

Father, forgive me and help me to forgive others,
and as I do,
may they be healed, as well.

Father, I give You my heart today,
asking You to remove from me,
all that is hindering me from today and from my future.

Bring me out of the past,
by Your great power and strength,
and place me on the journeypath that is truly mine today.

I wish to love others, as You do, Father.
I need Your help right now.

I give You all the emotional baggage that I am carrying around
with me, and ask that You remove this weight from my soul.

In the name of Jesus, I pray, trust, and believe,
thanking You, Father, for Your help now.
Amen.

Good Morning, Folks!!

He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
Psalm 112:7

Each day, millions of people receive some sort of bad news. For some, it seems to occur every day.

As long as we cling to our faith, and trust in the Lord, we know that God can strengthen us, and help us to get through.

He is faithful and loving and He listens attentively to the prayers of His children, which is an assurance.

If you have received bad news this week, take heart.

God is in control and on His Heavenly throne. Send up prayers of trust. He is our Helper. He never forsakes us.

Praise God.

Do all, within your power, to restore GOD in America.

Dear Father,
We seek Your strength today, Your power, and Your grace,
giving You thanks for Your Fatherly love.

Father,
as we face obstacles in our lives,
which seem beyond human strength to overcome,
may we feel Your Presence and Your power
moving in our spirits.

Help us to surrender all to You,
so that Your divine will shall come to pass.

In the name of Jesus,
we pray,
Amen.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4

It is interesting to evaluate the things we take pleasure in, the things we spend our time in seeking.

Delighting ourselves in the things of God, taking time to study His ways, to know Him, are pleasing to Him.

A person with a seeking heart, a searching spirit, is on the way to having their heart's desires granted.

The Holy Spirit dwells within us, and is able to monitor the things we seek, our intentions. No one knows our hearts any better than the Holy Spirit.

Keep a heart for God nourished, and He will keep you nourished, in all good things.

Praise God.

Teach Me to Listen

Let me sit at Thy feet and listen
as they did so long ago.
But, I am always busy, Lord,
and the world does press me so.

When problems overwhelm me,
and there's so much to do,
I cannot pause to listen,
as You would want me to.

When foolish tensions fill my day,
Teach me, Lord, to pause and pray.
And let frustrations slip away;
May I hear and then obey.

Let me sit at Thy feet and listen!

Good Morning, Folks!!!

". . . . . let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them!"

I Chronicles 16:32

Whenever I think of Fall, I think of vacant fields, rolling meadows, burnt crimson leaves, and busy little birds preparing for Winter's roost.

I think of change, transition, and a stirring of the Spirit within, to prepare us the way, for the cold and wintry days ahead, the long days, the beautiful starlit nights, hayrides, scarecrows, hot apple cider, brown jugs, brittled cornstalks standing stately in a row, wooden fenceposts, with blackbirds perched, and barns sitting alone, forsaken, empty.

I think of days of childhood, as the cold days of Fall brought about to young children's minds, anticipation of the Christmas season, the gathering, and the sharing, all the planning, and the smell of freshly fallen leaves upon the ground, crisp and snappy as stepped upon.

I don't know the many thoughts that Fall may conjure in Your mind, but the loveliness of it all, is a joy to everyone, just the knowing that change is upon the earth, in our hearts, and in our spirits.

Praise God!

Autumn

The air resounds with voices,
piercing Autumn's still.
From the meadows, crickets call
relentlessly and shrill.

Aspen leaves are quaking
in the gentle breeze.
Blackbirds flock to empty fields,
and squabble in the trees.

All around the eye detects
Autumn's busy hand,
painting vales and hillsides,
so vibrant and so grand.

Shades of crimson and of gold,
blaze mingled in the green.
The woodlands stand aglow again,
in colors rarely seen.

Autumn's tranquil pictureis
framed by Heaven's blue.
Autumn days, so beautiful,
so fleeting and so few.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

It is Election Day in America. Get out and vote today, if you possibly can. Pray for the election process.

. . . . .. . . . then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy.
Psalm 96:12

Today, as I was driving along, it seemed that the vibrant leaves of Autumn
were dancing in rhyme with the wind, as my vehicle was inundated in a
leaf shower.

Ambers, rusts, and golds were plummeting from the sky overhead,
twisting and jotting in all directions, and it was a beautiful experience.

Our Father God showers us with blessings from Heaven every day. If we are mindful of His ways, we see His majesty and wonder in all the earth, in many different settings.

Look and watch for them today, and enjoy the Autumn. Enjoy today, enjoy our freedom to vote. Enjoy yourself.

Have you ever seen the dance of the leaves,
upon a windy Autumn day?
Have you ever seen the agility,
as they suddenly plummet and spray?

I've enjoyed the beauty of Autumn,
and I've been completely raptured,
in the early days of Spring;
I'm in awe of all the wonders of the seasons,
and the joy of the beauty,
that Our Lord Jesus brings.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

Welcome to November!!!!! Am glad this month has finally come.

So tell them, 'As surely as I live,' declares the Lord, 'I will do to you the very things I heard you say. . . ..
Numbers 14:28

It is very enlightening to another person, what they hear others say. Not only are we able to get an opinion, but we can also tell how much faith they have in Almighty God. A person's words tell very much about their faith, and
demonstrate it. A man is truly known by the fruit of his lips.

Pride and arrogance will make a person boast of things to come, which they may have no control over, or of which is hopeful thinking, on their part.

But, the tongue is a dangerous thing, if used in the wrong way. Our words can destroy us, and those around us.

Be watchful of the words you utter, especially in any kind of evil prophetic way. They may just come true.

Our God of Mercy

The years, the years, so quickly passed,
Yes, how the years pass on;
I long to grab them back again,
undo what I did wrong.

But this is foolish wanting,
for I never can undo,
Nor ever could do perfectly,
the things I now do rue.

Those things I do most regret,
and often think about,
I now must trust to God,
Whose love is working all things out!
Lynn Fenimore Nuzzi

Prayer Requests:

Marie - 3rd stage, Ovarian cancer. Pray for peace, comfort, rest, God's perfect will.

Joanne - lung and brain tumors; doctors have given prognosis of six months; terminal. Pray for miracle healing. I believe.

Renald - continue to pray; bitten by cat. Pray for infection not to spread to heart.

Jesse - diabetic; kidney failure.

Pray for America today:
Safety, security; for all weapons formed against her to be thwarted; for the prophecies of dread and evil, not to come true. Our Father God is still in control, and He still reigns on His heavenly throne. He is the true Ruler over this nation, nobody else. Keep eyes and focus upon Him. He will never forsake us.

Military troops - safety, security, in all areas of duty, communications, and in travels.

Pray for the strength of the Christian army to rise in this nation, to pray and war against spiritual powers and principalities of darkness, those who do evil works.

Pray for the messages of God's love to reach the lost, hurting, troubled, and confused, to reach the hearts of the blind, who are leading the blind.
Pray for His power to overcome the messages of hatred, violence and evil in the world.
