While some in the world refuse to accept Jesus at His word, and spend time and energies looking for their "god" in other places, they end up confused, weary, and defeated, not to mention unsaved!
It is only the Lord Jesus Who is able to manifest change in the lives of others ... to transform hardened hearts, into soft hearts of flesh.
For those who are hungrily seeking immediate signs and wonders, through others, I am afraid that they will be, very much, deeply disappointed!
Our faith is that of simple trust, and we learn to wait, and depend upon Him, and His wisdom, in all circumstances in life!
It is never to be a hurry up and be served relationship ... but is a temperance of ourselves, which places others ahead of us, unselfishly, and, most important, God first, in all things.
We must make it a point, to know His way, His truth ... so that we may have life, and experience it to the fullest!
May God rule over our nation, and in all decisions concerning its people. We ask for His power, His wisdom, to take dominion and authority, to rule over all!

Forgiveness of those who hurt us ... those who seem to gain pleasure from aiming arrows of devastating wounds our way, is difficult.
The forgiveness may be genuine and sincere, from a faithful heart, but the memory of the pain lingers on ... especially if the perpetrator doesn't repent, or seem to even care.
Well, in that event, it isn't for us to harbor resentment, but just hand them over to God, and let Him deal with them, in His way!
We are precious in God's sight, as His children, and do you know something?
He doesn't take it lightly, whenever somebody grieves one of his children!
We can be confident that He will avenge, and in a much better way than we can imagine, if we just don't butt in, and try to correct things, our way.
A daily blessing that we most often overlook, is the forgiveness of our own sins, and the redemption granted us, through the blood of Jesus Christ, from the curse.

This day so full of promise has slowly slipped away,
Like dying coals upon the fire where logs of oak once lay.
Some victories, some losses, with work yet to be done ...
