The most important relationship that we have in life is that which we develop with Our Father God.
The next relationship, which He concerns Himself with, is that of ours and our family.
We have a strength which comes from our families, which is like no other.
Whenever a person is away and becomes homesick, they are longing for that strength.
Nothing can replace it!
It is much like the strength which we can only obtain from Our Father God.
Both are very unique, both are very much needed.
The bloodlines of our families carry the unity thread of closeness, which when pooled all together, provides strength.
Whenever there is strife and conflict within a family, that band of strength and unity is diminished, and the fragments of love are scattered, which also fragment the soul.
A family should be a fortress, the same as Our God is.
Don't allow the enemy to tear down the walls of your fortress, and if already torn down, do not ever allow them to remain that way.
If there is no seed of Abraham in your family, determine to become that very seed, and allow your branch grow to intertwine with the other branches of your family tree.
Cast aside past grievances, pride, and all the other tricks of the enemy, which he uses to keep you divided.
There is no stronger person in the world, than the one who will swallow pride, in order to make amends.
Many are without God in this time, and soon, there will come the falling of the Holy Spirit, much like a heavenly blanket.
Many, who are lost, and who are groping to find a way, will run to get underneath it.
So much trouble has hit families, with financial problems, health issues, and the like, and just as we have a responsibility individually, we also have a responsibility as a family,to seek God, His purpose, for the family.
As each family becomes shielded in His love and protection, others will join, and the whole community will be gathered together in one accord.
We need to seek His righteousness in this nation, in each and every family.

Our measures of trust are blessings, often bringing us peace of mind, in a not so kind and peaceful world.
Those who are near to us even, can hurt and offend, with hurtful words, accusations, or by speaking untruths against us.
As we trust God for all things to work for the good, we must know that no matter the outcome, after He has decided, it shall be a blessing in some way, and we are able to see His wisdom and experience it, gaining insight for ourselves, and thereby, are able to walk in peace.
Sometimes, the pathway to peace is a little rocky ... but with our hand in God's hand, He will always lead us to the peaceful waters.
The enemy likes to steal away our joy, to cause emotional pain, just before we are to receive a blessing.
He tries to discourage us, and diminish our faith, but we trust, regardless, the Mighty power of God!
Those who speak slander against a sister or a brother, are setting themselves up for trouble from Father God.
We are to build up one another, especially in the family, and to encourage those who have been assaulted.
God keeps His eyes upon the righteous, and He will not allow anyone to attack, in any way, against His own, without retribution.
We simply rest, and trust, in His hand, as He knows perfectly how to deal with those who offend.
The tongue can bring life or death ... it is our option on how we use it!
Trust gives a purpose to our earthly life, makes it rewarding, and well worth the strife.
The virtue of trust can free us from care, the lever of trust can lift from despair.
Trust calms troubled minds in times of distress. It serves as a balm to soothe and to bless. It's a safety valve for our emotions, it controls our acts in great commotions.
It's a dynamo of Divine Power that brings strength to us, in our weakest hour.
It sheds an aura of love and of peace, It makes discontent and resentments cease.

Despondency, depression attacks all of us, at one time or another.
We have two trains of thought coming at us, all the time, and we choose which of the trains we allow to pass on through.
Medication and drugs can affect our moods, and influence our thoughts.
If we remain on the downward swing, it is time to have medications evaluated.
But, for those who are not on medication, we must choose the positive thoughts, the words of truth, as the enemy will attack with lies, at every opportunity.
We, first, must know the Word of God, and what He says about situations.
This is where many fail!
They are not familiar, at all, with God's Word, and don't have a word to stand upon.
We must have enough of His Word deposited into the heart, to draw strength from, in these times of battle.
The mind determines our thoughts, and we must choose not to fear, not to believe, those things which do not line up with God's Word.
If not careful, thinking the wrong thoughts, brings forth the wrong words, from our lips, which brings the wrong situations into our lives.
God gives us hope in all matters!
There is never anything impossible, with Him!
We must build up our faith, by hearing His Word, and by choosing to believe, and act, according to it.
This is the best method of which we may overcome depression, and the direction in which it takes us.
We must rely upon God, and know that He is real ... that He is victorious, and that we are His.
We'll always have another dawn when morning ends the night. We'll always know this world of ours will somehow turn out right.
A peace will strangely fill our hearts when weary work is done, and though the storm is long and rough, a bright new day will come.
Because there is a God, I'm sure we'll always have a smile, and somehow we will find a way to make each day worthwhile.
A friend will bring us endless joy and love will live through all. We'll have a Winter wonderland where snowflakes softly fall.
I do not know why days are sad, why life must bring a care. I only know that God above is ever watching there.
And sometimes though my heart can't smile, though dark the road I trod,I always find my way, at last ... because there is a God.

It is such a good thing, that God, in His infinite wisdom, sent us into the world, without knowledge of every plan, that He had ordained.
Until we became enlightened of Him, His love for us, our human minds could not understand, that He had plans for us, which transcended ours, by far.
If many had known, all along, I'm sure that many would have thought that their plans were far better, and would wish to change a few things, along the way.
This is what is taking place now, among those who do not yet know Christ.
They are creating their own plans, with their own devices, and are making decisions in their own wisdom, without His, included.
So, we have that segment of society, working against those of God's people, and how He manages to keep it all under control, I have no idea at all.
But, we need to thank Him today, that we have His plans, His power, His love, working and moving in each surrendered life, and that He guards and directs our every step, gradually, as we humbly seek Him, His wisdom, His grace, and move forward, in His perfect will, walking in faith.

The refining process in all of us is a very slow and painstaking process.
It usually begins with something roughly hewn and processed until shiny ... pure and filtered through and through.
We are being refined daily into the image of Christ.
Each trial and experience will touch our hearts in such a way, as to mold, shape, and renew us, bringing out the polish, which has always remained hidden beneath the surface.
On the outside it may be difficult to recognize Christ in us, but for those of us who seek Him diligently, we catch many glimpses of Him, through them.
He is there, within the heart, walking in the garden paths, inspecting every promising hope of future blossoms.
Let me try a little harder, Let me pray a little more, Let me go a little farther, than I've ever gone before.
Let me sing instead of sighing, As I pass beneath the rod Let my life burn out for others, Less of self and more of God.
Let me see the ones about me, Hungry for the peace I know, And the spirit of my Savior, Father, let me ever show.

Many unsurmountable problems, gathered together at the same time, can certainly seem overwhelming.
But, if we remember God's promise, and surrender all to Him, He is able to sustain us, while sending forth His peace.
Regardless of age, circumstances, or physical condition, God is able to break through.
He has promised to sustain us, and, He will do so!
Suicidal thoughts come from the enemy and may offer an easy way out, but we are all God's children, and His love is with us, always, if we just accept Him.
Know that no problem is larger than He is, and that He has accesible power, through prayer, which is beyond all others, to dispel all the hurting, all of the pain, all the strife and uncertainty.
Many, daily, face news of unfavorable medical reports, layoffs, disappointments, and failures, each and every day.
Life is worth living and it is worth giving to others, all that you can be!
Allow the One Who created the thunder control Your storms!

While the outcome of Today is usually determined by the choices we make as we rise, the mood of Tomorrow will be affected by whatever we choose to carry into it from Today.
We must discipline ourselves to make the right choices, not only hour by hour, but minute by minute.
In moments of anger, emotional upheaval, our decisions need to be weighed carefully.
To give in to such feelings, will bring judgments that are made in error.
A time set aside, to cool down and thoroughly assess the situation, to pray for clarity, will bring about godly direction, and godly answers.
One particular day may not seem so important, but years down the road, it may be considered a stepping stone into the right direction, or a it will be a stumbling block.
Weighing things, in light of God's Word, having His wisdom to discern decisions, is the best path to take, and always, the right path to take.
Life is too short to dwell on my sorrows, to harbour my grudges in bitter tomorrows.
Life is too short to dwell on my pain, to play and replay some vengeful refrain.
Life is too sweet to waste precious minutes, in nursing resentments, self-righteousness in it.
Then, let me not dwell on life's sorrow and sadness, O Lord, let me think of life's blessings, with gladness.
