Common Thread

There is a common thread among us,
in each family,
I am told.
This common thread of unity is more precious,
than silver, diamonds, or gold.

It is pleasing to the Father,
whenever we forgive and make amends;
In our forgiveness, we are forgiven,
and reflect the love of Him.

Families all share a special bond,
which can easily unravel with misunderstanding.
Only God can mend and heal,
and bring hearts into forgiving.
