The Remnant
There is still a Remnant, Father,
who seek you, night and day,
praying for Your deliverance,
to take the world's troubles away.
A Remnant, that hides in Your shelter,
who finds comfort underneath Your mighty wings;
A Remnant, who seeks Your mercy,
as they observe the woes, the heartaches,
that sin and hatred bring.
We are the Remnant,
who trustingly wait to see Thy hand upraised;
We are the Remnant, Father,
who know You,
and are so thankful that we've been saved.
We are the Remnant,
who intercede for others,
who are often saddened by the way things are.
We are the Remnant, Father,
who love You,
and worship You,
up close, not from afar.
We are the Remnant, Father,
who cry out,
whenever we see oppression.
We are the Remnant, Father,
who love all people,
and wish to see them change,
in their direction.
We are the Remnant, Lord Jesus,
who are pained at the thought of Your nail-scarred hands.
We are the Remnant, Lord,
who try to reach out to others,
to those who seem not to understand.
We are the Remnant, Father,
who will go as far as You shall send.
We are the Remnant, Father,
who will remain trusting and faithful,
unto You,
until the end.

In that day, they will say,
"Surely this is our God,
we trusted in Him, and He saved us.
This is the Lord, we trusted in Him;
let usrejoice and be glad in His salvation."
Isaiah 25:9
