The Warrior

From lofty trees in forests still,
I hear the voice of God.
Observing the ancient paths of those before,
we see the paths to trod.

Each warrior has a battle,
a victory to be won;
His skills are exact and honed;
so that he will not be undone.

The war begins in struggle,
and waged sometime before.
It isn't until we are ready,
that the angry winds howl
outside the door.

The warrior is fit and ready,
knowing that he will win;
He opens the door for battle,
and doesn't hesitate to step in.
