4th of July

As I feel the earth beneath my feet,
with pride,
my spirit soars.
For before me,
I see the images,
of those, who have walked before.

I see the soldiers in the fields,
the corps of fife and drums resounding,
the wars and all the battles,
the scenes so abounding.

America, our Beloved Land,
America, our hopeful nation.
May we honor you and respect our heritage,
from every life and station.

May we raise our hands to salute you,
may we bask in the goodness of this kingdom.
May we walk with pride, with heads held high,
as we continue the fight for freedom.

May we keep in mind that our forefathers
were a God fearing people,
determined to follow His commands.
May we proceed along the same course,
regardless of what others may demand.

America is strong!
America is loved by her young and her old,
May we, as eagles' wings, arise,
capture her spirit,
as in all the wars fought so bold.

We pledge our allegiance to our country,
and we thank and praise our God!
For no other land has been so blessed,
and nowhere have any braver trod.

Let us continue to march in Freedom,
to ring our Liberty Bell.
And, as we stand to salute her proudly,
may the pride in our hearts swell.
