Dear Father God,
Today, we come to You, as Your family,
Your children, Your beloved,
seeking peace, in this imperfect world.

Father,
our eyes are upon You,
upon Your power and strength,
which exceed that of any other.

Father,
we lift up Your name, and we exalt You,
above the earth,
for Your everlasting faithfulness,
and Your promise to keep us, in perfect peace,
whose mind is staid on Thee.

Father,
bring peace out of calamity,
bring comfort to Your people,
from all the evils of the world.
May we see Your victory in all efforts,
to restore Your Words, Your precepts,
which are so precious to us.

Father,
bless our brothers and sisters in other nations,
who may not know You, as we do,
who may not have the opportunity to seek You freely,
as we do.

May our Christian freedoms in America always stand,
as we believe and trust in Your power,
that they always will.
May every household claim Jesus as Lord,
and seek His Presence,
in days of trouble.

Father,
thank You for blessing us,
for giving us such a rich nation in which to live, work, and play,
and for giving us the opportunity, each day,
to reach others with Your love.

In the name of Jesus,
we pray, trust, and thank You.
