Dear Father God,

Tonight, I lift up my child,
who is so close unto my heart;
And I pray that, with Your love,
Your wisdom shall impart.

I pray for good and blessed things,
for all the goodness Your love brings.

I pray that a relationship with you will build,
and a harvest of blessings, it shall yield.

I pray that from these lips,
a song of praise shall be heard;
And, upon reading favorite books,
A Bible will always be chosen,
to glean from Your Word.

Perhaps, You have plans for music or art,
something to share, from the heart.

But, most of all, Father, I pray,
that love within the heart will show,
and that within conversations,
Your love will flow,
and in leading others. . . . to You, they go.
