I am just a little teddy bear,
all cute, cuddly and very sweet.
And, whenever you receive me,
I think it's rather neat.
I like to bring you happiness,
I love to bring you cheer;
And, I want most of all, to comfort you,
whenever I am near.
You can sit me almost anywhere,
I am plump, so just any old place will do.
But, do me just one big favor,
please keep me close to you.
I may have only a button nose,
and a smile, that is made with thread;
but, my heart is filled with love,
and I do have a brain inside my little head.
I know when you are hurting;
I know whenever you're feeling blue.
Why, that is the very reason I was taken from the shelf,
and chosen just for YOU.
I promise to be yours forever to keep,
I promise to be a loyal and faithful Friend.
I pledge to keep all your secrets, between me and you,
and I will stick by you, through thick or thin.
